Introducing… me
I had a diary when I was in high school. For some reason I quit writing in college. I’ve always wanted to get back to it… having a record of what I have done and experienced in this — sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes exciting, sometimes boring — life. So here I am now, at 3:38 AM starting my new diary — in a more sophisticated way than just a thick book – while struggling with a bad jet lag after a two-weeks-of-somewhat-complicated trip to a country in western hemisphere.
Introducing… me.
A single woman in her late 20’s (doesn’t that just sound scary for some? :P), who is trying to have a personal legend (Paulo Coelho - The Alchemist), dreaming to see and experience much more of what this big big world has to offer, and above all… wanting to be happy — just like everybody else.
I spent 23 years of my life in an archipelago country in South-east Asia. Was born and grown up in a somewhat conservative family. Lucky to be able to enjoy good formal education until college without having paying for it myself, thanks to my father. The luck remains until now. The government of a rich country in East Asia provides me financial support — and no string attached! — to go all the way of getting the highest degree. Doesn’t that just sound great? Well… yes in many ways but not always. It’s not easy to understand, I know. I have more to say about it later… and perhaps I will make myself clearer by then.
I have been living in this rich country for almost 6 years. Travelled to several countries in Asia, Europe, and North America during that 6 years, and I hope to explore more places around the globe. Expensive hobby, I know! Everytime I pass that certain amount of money in my bank account, I am just itched to hunt for cheap air ticket and fly to some foreign country!
When it comes to travelling, I am more of a parks-gardens-and-aquariums person than museums. That doesn’t mean I hate museums tho. Natural history museums are actually one of my favourites. But I definetely choose fossils and mummies over sculptures and paintings
Going to club is something I like too because dancing is so much fun. Even better with live music! But I also love staying home doing homey things. Read books, listen to music, cooking (yes, I do cook and I am pretty good at it — ask my friends if you don’t believe me! :P). And I like everything clean (my friends say I clean my room just a bit too much).
Hmm… what else? I think it’s enough for now. This blog eventually will do its job in explaining myself. I hope you will enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy creating it
i cant understand……
I like your words which reflect your knowledge and wisdom.
